School Song

This is our school, let peace be found here.
May the rooms be full of happiness.
Let love abide, love for one another.
The love of life itself and the love of God.

Our Motto

"Let the rooms
be full of happiness."

Mission Statement

Scoil Iósaf is a co-educational, Catholic, primary school which strives to provide a well-ordered, caring, happy and secure atmosphere where the intellectual, spiritual, physical, moral and cultural needs of the pupils are identified and addressed.

Principal's Vision

Fáilte. I lead the team at Scoil Iósaf. I have done so since September 2006. Scoil Iósaf is concerned with teaching children how to learn in preparation for life-long 21st century learning. I believe in an active school that promotes and fosters active learning. There is a “We-can-do”/ Is féidir linn attitude and approach. Scoil Iósaf is modern and progressive. Our campus and personnel reflect this……. Jane Flannery.

School Schedule:
A Roman Catholic School (which is established with the Minister for Education) aims at promoting the full and harmonious development of all aspects of the person of the pupil; intellectual, physical, cultural, moral and spiritual, including a living relationship with God and with other people. The school models and promotes a philosophy of life inspired by belief in God and in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Catholic school provides Religious education for the pupils in accordance with the doctrines, practices and tradition of the Roman Catholic Church and promotes the formation of the pupils in the Catholic Faith.
